TelescopyBot Payment and Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Payment and Refund Policy illustrates how we, Akentech Ltd, manage Payments and Refunds, regarding your usage of paid services (“Services”) of our @TelescopyBot (“Bot”). For the purpose of this Policy, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Akentech Ltd, and ‘you’ pertains to you, the user of the Bot. By purchasing Services and using our Bot, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not purchase or use our Bot.

2. Payments

2.1 Prices

The price applicable to Services will be the price at the time you initiate your purchase, as published in our Bot. We reserve the right to change the prices of the Services at any time without notice. By purchasing Services, you agree to pay the price set forth at the time of your order. You can view up-to-date prices with /premium command in Bot. All prices for Services include VAT where applicable. Prices listed at telesco.fi/pricing may be out of date due to the static nature of the web-page. For up-to-date prices, please, use /premium command in Bot.

2.2 Payment methods

We accept certain payment methods for purchases through the Service. Payment methods may vary depending on the different countries and payment providers that we work with. We may change the payment methods available in the Service from time to time. By specifying a payment method in the Service, you agree that:

  1. You are authorized to use that payment method
  2. The payment information you provide is true and accurate
  3. Your payment information will be directly provided to the payment providers with whom we do business. Please note that when you make purchases through the Service, you may be charged additional fees and charges as determined by your financial institution or issuer. We have no influence over this and accept no responsibility for such actions.

2.3 Subscriptions

By subscribing via “All cards” section of the bot, you agree with:

2.3.1 Purchasing subscription

By purchasing the Services, you warrant to us that: (i) you will pay for the Services in accordance with the terms of your subscription until you cancel your subscription; and (ii) until we cancel your subscription, we are entitled to charge you via out payment providers for your use of the Services in accordance with the terms of your subscription using the payment method you specify. We will automatically charge you via our payment providers for the use of the Services you purchased beginning on the date of purchase and continuing each recurring renewal date (monthly, annual/yearly, or other renewal period) until you cancel your subscription.

PLEASE NOTE! Your Services subscription will automatically renew until you cancel it yourself in accordance with the conditions of this Agreement. You can cancel the subscription any time, see “2.3.3 Cancellation of Subscriptions”.

2.3.2 Changing subscriptions

Services subscription fees may change from time to time. If the cost of your purchased Services subscription changes, we will give you at least three (3) calendar days’ notice through the Service. If you disagree with a change in the price of your purchased Services subscription, you may cancel the subscription in accordance with the conditions of this Agreement. If you do not cancel your subscription after being notified of a change in the cost of your purchased Services subscription, you will be deemed to have accepted the new cost of your subscription.

2.3.3 Cancellation of Subscriptions

You may cancel your purchased Services subscriptions at any time at your sole discretion. You may cancel subscriptions through the functionality of the Service. The most straightforward way is to use /help command in @TelescopyBot and follow the link to the customer portal.

PLEASE NOTE that if you cancel a subscription within its term, the subscription fee already debited will not be refunded - your already-paid subscription will still be valid until it expires. Please note that your purchased Services subscription will automatically expire if you fail to pay in full and on time. In any case, your subscription will be suspended until it is paid in full and canceled after unsucesfull attempts to charge you by our payment providers.

PLEASE NOTE that any Services subscriptions you have purchased may be canceled at our discretion if you violate the terms of this Agreement or any other applicable Company policy like Terms of Service.

2.4 Important notice about EU VAT

To remain compliant with EU VAT obligations and due to the nature of Telegram’s Bot Payments API you agree that:

  1. If you’re a natural person residing within the EU/EEA, you can only pay with a payment method in “EUR” or “All cards” section of the Bot.
  2. Due to limitations in Telegram’s Bot Payments API, the VAT rate may not be displayed on the payment screen when paying via Telegram Payments. VAT will be calculated based on the information you provide to our payment provider. If you require a detailed VAT invoice for your payment, please contact @TelescopySupport. We will procure a detailed paid invoice from the payment provider and share it with you within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. If you’re a business within the EU/EEA, you can’t pay via Bot, since Telegram Payments does not support VAT ID filling. Please, contact @TelescopySupport to conduct a payment invoice, make sure to provide your VAT ID.

3. Donations

We reserve the right to provide Services, either partially or in full, to users who have voluntarily donated to us via third-party services. Users obtaining services through donations are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third-party services, as well as our Terms of Service. We advise donors to review the terms of such third-party services carefully before making a donation.

Access to services through donations is at our discretion and does not create any guarantees or obligations on our part. Users are responsible for any taxes or fees that may apply.

4. Refunds

4.1 Non-Refundable Services

Since our Services involves costly, high-performance conversion operations and due to digital nature of our Services, all sales are considered final once the Services have been used. We do not typically offer refunds except under specific circumstances outlined in this Policy.

You may not be entitled to the refund if you’ve violated our Terms of Service.

4.2 Faulty Services

If you experience technical issues or faults with the Services that are unresolved by us within a reasonable time frame, or service does not operate as described, you may be eligible for a refund. In such cases, please contact us immediately, providing all relevant details about the issue. We will investigate the matter and will determine whether a refund is appropriate.

4.3 Cooling-off Period

If you are a new customer and have purchased one of our Services for the first time, you may be eligible for a refund within the first 14 days of your purchase if you have not accessed the Services.

4.4 Exceptions

We reserve the right to offer refunds, discounts, or other consideration in select circumstances at our sole discretion. Please note that each circumstance is unique and decision to make such an offer in one instance does not create the obligation to do so in another.

4.5 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support account at @TelescopySupport. Please include details and proof of purchase of the Service for which you are seeking a refund, and the reason for your request.

5. Changes to This Policy

We will review and may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will become effective when we post the revised Policy on this page telesco.fi/payments. Please check our website frequently to see any updates or changes to our Policy.
